About the Hanahan Area

Summerville, Daniel Island, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant and downtown Charleston are short commutes.
The city of Hanahan offers a lowcounty slower-paced living appeal in the heart of the Charleston area. Its estimated population is approximately 20,000 residents. For area amenities, you’ll find golfing, hiking, camping, boating, kayaking, fishing, cycling and horseback riding nearby or within an easy drive. Close by is Yeamans Hall Club, a private golf and swim club. Yeamans, built in 1925 is ranked the #2 private course in the State of South Carolina and 95th Greatest US Golf Courses Golf Digest for 2019/2020.
Water sports and fishing are a large part of life in Hanahan. Hanahan has direct access to the Cooper River and the Charleston Harbor.
Another popular Hanahan amenity is the Hanahan Amphitheater opened in 2013. This outdoor community theater hosts city run events, movies in the park and concerts.
