MOUNT PLEASANT, SC – Carolina Park, one of the Lowcountry’s premier master-planned communities, is pleased to announce the opening of Bolden Grove, the newest neighborhood in the custom homes community of Riverside.
“We’re very excited to introduce Bolden Grove and make these exceptional home sites available,” said Brian Keels, Marketing Director at Carolina Park. “Our Riverside custom homes community has been incredibly successful, and we know that a lot of prospective homebuyers have been eagerly awaiting Bolden Grove. Interest has been very strong, and we expect demand will be as well.”
Bolden Grove, named for the two groves of dense woodlands that frame the neighborhood, will be comprised of 27 generously sized home sites. It will also serve as a gateway to the future Bolden Park and its 20-acre centerpiece, Bolden Lake. The neighborhood will be within easy walking distance of the lake itself, which will offer its own amenities including a large boardwalk, a mile-long lakeside trail, a kayak launch and more.
“Bolden Grove is likely to be our most popular Riverside neighborhood yet,” says Haley Cuzzell, Carolina Park’s Community Sales Manager. “And because there are only 27 home sites in Bolden Grove – all backing to either preserved woodlands or wetlands – residents are ensured both exclusivity and privacy. It’s really going to be an exceptional neighborhood.”
2016 has been a busy year at Carolina Park. Construction on two new schools began – Carolina Park Elementary is slated to open next August while work on Oceanside Collegiate Academy, a charter high school, has just begun. In addition, the community welcomed Mount Pleasant’s newest Fire/Police station this past summer, and recently introduced the 2-acre “Great Lawn” and the new Outdoor Pavilion at the community’s Residents Club. And just last week, it was announced that construction on the newest Mount Pleasant Public Library will begin next year. That library is located in very close proximity to Wando High School, the Wando Center For Advanced Studies and the new elementary school.
“From the beginning, our goal has been to provide a very special and unique collection of amenities,” recalls Keels. “From the region’s best schools to a full-service hospital to the 54-acre active park to our Residents Club, everything is first rate. Bolden Park and Bolden Lake will give our residents something else they just won’t find in any other Mount Pleasant community. It’s really going to be special.”
Set on more than 1,700 acres in north Mount Pleasant, Carolina Park offers a diverse range of home designs to suit a variety of lifestyle and generational needs, as well as unparalleled community amenities. The combination of thoughtful design, quality construction and beautiful natural surroundings in Mount Pleasant’s prime location has generated tremendous growth. The Riverside community alone encompasses more than 545 acres along the banks of the Wando River, more than half of which will be permanently preserved.
“Our goal is to continue to exceed homebuyer’s expectations and our resident’s expectations,” concluded Keels. “We want to make sure that Carolina Park is a special place to live now and fifty years from now. Homebuyers see the results of that commitment from the moment they pull onto the property, and they want to become part of it.”
Carolina Park is located off of Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Along with highly ranked schools including Wando High School, the Wando Center for Advanced Studies, the future Carolina Park Elementary School (under construction), Oceanside Collegiate Academy charter high school (under construction), the property also incorporates Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital, two churches and miles of trails for hiking and biking. Featuring townhomes, cottage homes, classic single-family homes and Riverside custom homes from eight of the region’s premier builders, Village homes start in the $300s while homes in Riverside range from the $600s to more than $1 million.
