Teri: Welcome to another segment of The Greater Charleston New Homes Guide “Ride with The Guide”. Today we are in Mt. Pleasant visiting Saussy Burbank at The Village at Carolina Park in Charleston County.
Teri: Hey everyone! Welcome to another segment of Ride with the Guide today we’re visiting Saussy Burbank’s Lightsey model at The Village at Carolina Park and we’re here with Jack. Jack we’re so exciting to be here to us a little bit more about this model.
Jack: Sure I’d love to! Come on in.
Teri: What’s the best thing about where Carolina Park is located?
Jack: The best thing about where Carolina Park is located is that you’re kind of set off and secluded and private, but at the same time you have the convenience of being close to the beaches, downtown Charleston, the Charleston International Airport, even historic Mt. Pleasant and Town Centre.
Teri: Tell us about life at The Village at Carolina Park?
Jack: You have everything you need at your fingertips. You can live, learn, work and play here and not even have to leave the community. …There’s a distinctive mix of homes, schools, churches, athletic fields. We also have plans for a future public library so you really have everything you need here.
Teri: Why don’t you tell us about the great amenities here?
Jack: We have a state-of-the-art neighborhood pool, tennis courts, a residents’ club with a future pavilion. We have plenty of nice green park spaces and walking and jogging trails. We also have a 20-acre lake.
Teri: Can you tell us some specifics about the model, The Lightsey?
Jack: The Lightsey is our most popular plan and it is 3065 SF, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. It has a beautiful open layout downstairs with the master down in the rear of the home and it has a very nice, spacious front porch. It’s great for entertaining. The kitchen, dining space and the family room are all open to each other. It’s very nice and comfortable. Upstairs you have this huge loft area for open private upstairs entertaining.
Teri: This kitchen is absolutely gorgeous Jack, and I love this island!
Jack: Thank you, yea it really encourages family gatherings and I really like that farm sink and the subway tile backsplash, these beautiful shaker style cabinets with the crown molding and our stainless steel appliances in here are great like that double over gas range really ties in well with the industrial style light fixtures.
Jack: The master suite is a very spacious room with 10-foot ceilings. It has a huge walk in closet and its own private master bath with a nice stand-up shower, dual vanities, granite counter tops and a private water closet.
Teri: There are so many great features in this house Jack but I love this fireplace, this is shipwreck right?
Jack: Yea it is, it’s actually something very unique to Saussy Burbank, the way that it’s carefully crafted and it really ties in with our timeless design of simple clean lines like you’ll see on the mantel piece, the window trim, and the baseboards throughout the home.
Teri: What have been home buyers’ favorite features in the home so far?
Jack: I would say the first thing would definitely be the kitchen. People walk in they are really just excited about all the different features and design and décor we have in our kitchen.
Jack: Another favorite feature of homebuyers is definitely the front and back porch. They’re open and spacious and inviting. They’re really nice Charleston-style porches. …Another feature that homebuyers really love would be that private master in the back because it’s so secluded from the rest but you still have the open layout in the home to entertain.
Teri: What is Saussy Burbank best known for?
Jack: Saussy Burbank is best known for their beautiful timeless craftsmanship. It’s that attention to detail in their design of their homes and in the craftsmanship.
Teri: Why should homebuyers choose Saussy Burbank?
Jack: Buyers should choose Saussy Burbank because the whole team works together to provide a very unique customer experience that really involves them with our team in building their dream home. We communicate with them every step of the way.
