And if you think you’ve seen every plan possible during your new home search, think again! Many NEW floor plans even offer multiple elevation and layout options that give home buyers endless abilities!

  • Expand from three to six bedrooms
  • Add flex space…. Need a home office? Dual master? A playroom?
  • Pick  whether your laundry is up or down
  • Decide how you want to use space available… do you prefer a desk in the kitchen, a wet bar w/wine rack or additional cabinets counter workspace?

This year, first-floor owner’s suites are becoming increasingly popular. Not only is it convenient, but having a lower-level suite is a great way to create a retreat that is separate from the secondary bedrooms. First-floor owner’s suites are also ideal for empty-nesters or retirees.  Another increasing trend is dual master suites. This is perfect for visiting guests or multi-generational living. A variety of plans offer two second floor masters or a master on the main floor with an additional master on the second floor offering more privacy.

Other additions you will see in 2016 are builders introducing one-story plans, homes with bonus lofts that could be converted into additional guest suites, and unique and optional entry points. Some homes even have doggie doors!
