Enjoy Piccolo Spoleto at Nexton in Summerville

Nexton Piccolo Spoleto Green Violin

Tickets are now available for Piccolo Spoleto at Nexton.  Piccolo Spoleto is returning to Nexton for the second year and will be welcoming  Gill Landry, widely known for his work as a member of Old Crow Medicine Show, along with opening act The Reverend Peyton Band. They’ll set up in the Brown Family Park amphitheater, surrounded by music fans from all over the region.   The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band has a signature sound of energetic country-blues, spiked with the occasional washboard or suitcase-as-a-drumset.  Landry will entertain with a folk-rock set of a Americana that blends hip-shaking with subdued moodiness. With food trucks on hand, including Mac Daddy, Rolled Quesadillas, and Backdraft BBQ, you’ll enjoy a perfect Lowcountry vibe in one of Summerville's best outdoor venues.

The concert will start at 5 p.m. on Saturday June 3rd.  The park will open at 3:30 p.m.  Come early to get the best spots! Don’t forget your blanket, chairs, sunscreen and bug spray.  If you need hotel accommodations, the Courtyard by Marriott is steps away from the amphitheater in Brown Family Park.  Arrive earlier in the day to tour the model row at Nexton.  You can begin your tour at The Greeting House Information Studio and the sales staff will guide you through Brighton Park, Nexton’s first residential village.  They will be open from 10-6 on Saturday.

Admission to this popular event is free but tickets are required.  There is a limit of four tickets per household.  Children twelve and under will not need a ticket when they are accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

When you’re visiting Nexton you’ll notice a great diversity in housing options, all coupled with a convenient lifestyle in a supremely livable community.   Del Webb Nexton offers brand new amenity-rich active adult living for those 55 and better. Parkside Towns is the first townhome village at Nexton with Lowcountry-inspired townhomes built by Pulte Homes.  These new neighborhood offerings are in addition to the charming single-family homes located in Brighton Park Village.

To get to Brown Family Park by car, take I-26 to 17A North (Exit 199B), turn left at the second light onto Brighton Park Boulevard and follow the signs to Event Parking. Parking is limited and first-come, first-served. Transit or carpooling with friends is smart and encouraged!  To get to The Greeting House Information Studio proceed 1.5 miles down Brighton Park Boulevard.  Take a right on Oak Park Street and look for the Greeting House Info Studio on the right.
