Congratulations are in order! On Friday, November 6, The Charleston Home Builders Association held their annual Prism awards ceremony and Ashton Woods, Eastwood Homes’ Charleston Division, and Nexton all were honored with awards.
Ashton Woods won six Prism Awards for:
- Best Company Brochure
- Best Community Brochure
- Best Model Home ($425,000-450,000) for The Chestnut at Limehouse Village in Summerville
- Best Floorplan ($400,000-450,000) for The Chestnut
- Best Model Home ($450,000-475,000) for The Summerside at Freeman’s Point
- Best Floorplan ($450,000-500,000) for The Summerside at Freeman’s Point
Just last year, it seemed everyone was asking who Ashton Woods was when they surprised people by winning three awards. But this year, the builder has solidified its position as one of the most design-focused builders in the market and a significant player in Charleston Real Estate.
Eastwood Homes’ Charleston Division also proudly won six Prism Awards this year.

- Sales Manager of the Year: Dion Matheney
- Best Model Home ($400,000-425,000) for The Rutherford at Summers Corner
- Best Product Single Family Home ($275,000-300,000) for The Stanley floorplan
- Best Product Single Family Home ($250,000-275,000) for The Drexel floorplan
- Million Dollar Club (Sales over a Million): Jacy Campbell, Melissa Guggisberg, Jonny Merkle, Brandi Metcalfe and Harry Enquist.
Nexton, Summerville’s master-planned community and the state’s first gigabitä community, which celebrates winning several noteworthy awards in its first year.
Additionally, David Weekley Homes won Best Radio Commercial, DR Horton won for Best New Community 100 Lots & Over, and FrontDoor Communities won Best Billboard. Hunter Quinn won for Best Product-Single Family Homes-Detached with The Hampton. John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods won for Best Design Studio and Best Model Home ($750,000-800,000) for their Clearwing model at Nexton.
Lennar won Best Sales and Information Center, Best Magazine Ad, Best Use of Technology: Social Media and Best Overall Use of Technology. The builder also won for Best Model Home ($250,000-300,000) for The Gavin. CalAtlantic Homes—Ryland Homes & Standard Pacific: Now One Company won Best Model Home ($200,000-250,000) for The Bellhaven II and Best Model Home ($300,000-350,000) for The Pendleton II.
