Join Carnes Crossroads for a Holiday Market Saturday, December 10th from 1-6pm. The vibrant community will transform into a holiday wonderland with festive lights and holiday cheer! Vendors will be selling handmade items at the Green Barn. There will be choral performances from school and church groups on the Village Green. Santa will make an appearance, and there will be a letter writing station. Be sure to stay for the official lighting of the Village Green.
Curious about the Green Barn? It’s just one of the many great features that makes Carnes Crossroads a unique place to call home. In addition to this Holiday Market, the Green Barn is home to a seasonal farmers market, yoga classes and “First Friday” socials and concerts during the summer months. In addition to having this cultural venue, recreational opportunities abound with parks, trails and a 25-meter pool complete with beach entry and a splash area for kids. Carnes Crossroads is also home to Northwood Church. Northwood Academy and Roper St. Francis are slated to open later next year, adding a school and medical facility to the community.
In addition to getting in the holiday spirit, this is a great opportunity to check out the neighborhood. The residential neighborhoods at Carnes Crossroads are the heart of the community. You’ll discover tree-lined streets with traditional homes and welcoming southern-style architecture marked by abundant porches and outdoor living spaces. Construction has just started in St. James Park, the highly anticipated follow up community to the popular St. Thomas Park. St. James Park features the same five acclaimed builders that constructed the first phase: Ashton Woods, David Weekley Homes, Eastwood Homes, John Wieland Homes and Sabal Homes. Landscaped parks, lakes, trails and walking paths will connect the community. After you’re finished at the Green Barn, be sure to stop by the Carnes Crossroads Information Center at 513 Woodin Place to tour the decorated model row—you won’t be disappointed!
