On Sunday, November 6, from noon until 4:00 p.m., The Ponds neighborhood hosts Holiday Extravaganza, a shopping event, at The Ponds Farmhouse and Pavilion, 151 Village Ponds Drive, Summerville, SC 29483. The event benefits the Gregg Middle School Food Pantry (GMSFP). There is no admission charge.
The Holiday Extravaganza features arts and crafts from Lowcountry artisans as well as products from area businesses. The Extravaganza includes food vendors and a performance by the Sand Hill Children’s Choir. Attendees are invited to bring nonperishable foods or financial contributions to be donated to the GMSFP. A percentage of the sale’s proceeds will be donated to the GMSFP.
Rain date for the Extravaganza is Sunday, November 13.

In 2015, The Conservancy was a Historic Preservation Award recipient, recognized by The Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation with the Stewardship Award for the adaptive reuse and management of the historic Ponds farmhouse and grounds, and for hosting local cultural events on the property.
