Carolina Park, one of the Lowcountry’s premier master-planned communities, is pleased to announce the opening of their newest model home. Designed and built by David Weekley Homes, the stunning two-story is the fourth home on Carolina Park’s “Model Row,” and the fifth overall.

“We’re very excited to have David Weekley Homes join Model Row,” said Brian Keels, Asset Manager and Marketing Director at Carolina Park. “It’s important to us to give potential Carolina Park neighbors a strong sense of our builders’ design and construction capabilities. Now, with four model homes on “the Row” and a fifth in our Riverside custom homes neighborhood, homebuyers have an opportunity to come discover all that Carolina Park has to offer.”

Set on more than 1,700 acres in north Mount Pleasant, Carolina Park offers a diverse range of home designs to suit a variety of lifestyle and generational needs, as well as unparalleled community amenities. The combination of thoughtful design, quality construction and beautiful natural surroundings in Mount Pleasant’s prime location has attracted immense interest among homebuyers.

“Homebuyers are all looking for one thing –a welcoming neighborhood they’ll want to call home. We’re proud to offer that, and to showcase a collection of homes that excite and inspire them,” says Haley Cuzzell, Carolina Park’s Community Sales Manager. “Being able to see and walk through not one or two but five model homes – all from different builders - lets people experience the quality and imagine the possibilities for themselves. When they see everything else that’s going on in the community, it’s hard for them not to get excited.”

The opening of the new model home is further indication that the level of activity at Carolina Park has never been higher, according to Keels. “We have two new schools being built – Carolina Park Elementary is under construction and work will begin soon on Oceanside Collegiate Academy. Mount Pleasant’s newest Fire/Police station just opened here, and we’ve recently debuted our new Outdoor Pavilion at the Residents Club, and in a month or two we’ll open our Great Lawn,” says Keels. In addition, all eight members of the Carolina Park Builder Team are building new homes in new phases in The Village and Riverside, and sales to date for 2016 top 125 homes.

“All of that makes it a very exciting time for us and for homebuyers,” Keels adds.

Carolina Park continues to find ways to further enhance life for its residents. Already home to a resort-style Residents Club with Jr. Olympic pool, playground, tennis courts and outdoor pavilion, Carolina Park has begun work creating a 20-acre lake in Riverside, the custom homes neighborhood, with long-term plans for additional amenities as well as direct Wando River access. More than 50 percent of the property in Riverside has been set aside as green space and will be permanently preserved.

“Our primary goal has always been to make Carolina Park a special place to live now and fifty years from now,” says Keels. “Homebuyers see and feel the results of that commitment from the moment they pull onto the property, and they want to become part of it.”

Carolina Park is located off of Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Along with highly ranked schools including Wando High School, the Wando Center for Advanced Studies, the future Carolina Park Elementary School (under construction), Oceanside Collegiate Academy charter high school (construction starting soon), the property also incorporates Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital, two churches and miles of trails for hiking and biking. Featuring townhomes, cottage homes, classic single-family homes and Riverside custom homes from eight of the region’s premier builders, Village homes start in the $300s while homes in Riverside range from the $500s to more than $1 million.
