SUMMERVILLE, SC - The public is invited to a raptor education program and flight demonstration at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at The Ponds Amphitheater, Summerville.
This presentation, by the staff of the Avian Conservation Center/Center for Birds of Prey, incorporates three live species of birds from a global perspective including one of the more resourceful, a Harris’ hawk, one of the stealthiest, an owl, and one of the most intelligent, a black vulture.
The event, presented by The Ponds Conservancy, takes place at the community Amphitheatre which is located just beyond the Welcome Center at 151 Village Ponds Drive, Summerville, SC 29483. There is no charge to attend. Questions about this event may be emailed to PondsEvents@associa.us.
The Ponds Conservancy, a not-for-profit community organization, is a component of The Ponds community.
