Carnes Crossroads is a master planned community that is evolving as a significant residential and commercial center in the heart of Charleston, South Carolina's growth. The traditional residential neighborhoods, southern architecture, parks, trails and expansive lakes at Carnes Crossroads are being carefully integrated with retail businesses, medical and corporate offices, a hospital, schools and a church to create a small-town community where people live, work and play.

Homes at Carnes Crossroads are built by some of the region’s finest builders: David Weekley Homes, Eastwood Homes, Pulte Homes and Sabal Homes. Their homes and home plans embody the authentic elegance of a classic Lowcountry residence.

The ownership of Carnes Crossroads is comprised of many of the same individuals and entities who are developing the award-winning established community of Daniel Island in Charleston. Day-to-day development activities are being managed by the DI Development Company, the same team that has been managing Daniel Island's development for more than 20 years. One of the most experienced community development teams in the southeast, the DI Development Company aims to create authentic and dynamic communities with a unique sense of place that evolve thoughtfully within the historical context of the region. The company is nationally recognized for exceptional smart growth development practices.
