Point Hope: Celebrate Cinco De Mayo Early!
Join the community for Food Truck Friday on May 2 from 5:30 until 7:30 pm on the Village Green for a festive evening filled with flavor, music and fun for all ages. There will be delicious bites from Madriga's Tacos & Latin Cuisine, live music by Gregory Guay, face painting, glitter tattoos, lawn games and maraca decorating. Participating Village Green businesses will also be offering specials.

Nexton: Stanley Martin Townhomes Grand Opening
Join Nexton Saturday, May 3rd from 11am to 2pm for the Grand Opening of the Stanley Martin Jenkins Townhomes. You are not going to want to miss the big reveal of this gorgeous, decorated model home. They will be officially open for sales and have several quick move in townhomes available for purchase. Held at Philip Simmons High School right within Point Hope, this meaningful event raises critical support for maternal mental health in the Charleston community. Lace up for a 5K run/walk, 1-mile walk and kids dash – then cool off at the family fun zone with activities for all ages.

New Homes Bus Tour 
Area real estate professionals are invited to join the SMC New Home Bus Tour on May 13, 2025, for an exclusive look at active communities and upcoming projects along the Highway 52 Corridor. Presented by Dominion Energy Natural Gas, the event will spotlight builder inventory and new-home developments in Goose Creek and Moncks Corner. The tour will begin and end at the Lennar model home in Carnes Crossroads, Summerville, with stops at multiple participating communities, including Cypress Preserve and Carnes Crossroads.

Summers Corner Farmers Market
Summers Corner will offer a wide selection of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and handmade crafts. Shoppers will find farm-fresh produce, eggs, micro greens, butters, sourdough bread, honey, baked goods, and sweet treats. In addition, locally made beauty products, candles, and handcrafted items will be available. Visitors can enjoy an afternoon of shopping while savoring delicious bites from local food trucks and listening to live music. The farmers market will also take place on June 22nd.
