Nexton 3rd Annual Cocoa Cup 5K December 17

Join 2,000 other running fanatics and Nexton for their third annual Nexton Cocoa Cup 5k… a race, family fun run and holiday festival on December 17, 2016.  You can keep your legs moving and Nexton will keep the cocoa steaming.  Options include a certified 5k or a one-mile Family Fun Run, both set against the back drop of Nexton’s scenic course design.  Enjoy a post-race party and awards ceremony.  Delicious hot chocolate will be served and holiday festivities will abound.  Music will be provided by DJ Natty Heavy.  Discover what Nexton is all about: healthy living and community get-togethers (and chocolate!).

All participants in the 5K will receive a Nike® hoodie commemorating the annual event, along with a free cocoa mug and other goodies.  Click here to register (registration has expired). Registration is $35 and includes a warm Nike® sweatshirt. Kids Fun Run is FREE. Be sure and register now as slots are filling quickly.  Proceeds will benefit Summerville Family YMCA and Girls With Sole.   Each overall winner will receive a grand prize gift basket.  Individual prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age/gender category.

Will this be your first time visiting Nexton?  Take some time to learn more about the community, it has been awarded numerous accolades since opening its first residential neighborhood, Brighton Park Village, about two years ago.

While you’re there be sure to visit the five beautifully decorated model homes plus dozens of quick move-in homes.  You’ll find the Front Porch Information Studio at 142 Brighton Park Boulevard, just off of Hwy 17A in Summerville.  Nexton is a new kind of community.  They offer a mix of homes, offices, retail and a great school for the kids—all connected to each other by parks trails and nature.  It’s a place where high technology meets Lowcountry living.
