Two-story homes start at 2,300 and exceed 3,600 square feet.
All plans in Saint John’s Lake offer sunrooms or screened porches, patios and outdoor living. The interiors feature many design options to upgrade and customize your home specifically to your taste. All homes feature high efficiency gas heat, cement plank siding, 42" kitchen cabinets, whirlpool stainless steel appliances, Corian kitchen counters, hardwood flooring in foyers, fully sodded yards and much more.
With so much to choose from, homebuyers are astonished at the affordability of this amazing community. Prices in Phase 1 start in the mid-200s, and even in a neighborhood that plans to build a community gathering area with a pool, covered pavilion, fire pit and dock, homeowner’s association dues are only $800 a year. “Since it’s located in Charleston County, the tax rate on a $350,000 home that qualifies as a primary residence is only about $1,200 a year. If it’s a second home, property taxes are approximately $4,500 a year.” Gillette said. “That kind of affordability makes the community even more appealing.”
